Account Deletion Guide

Learn how to permanently erase your EXPENX user account and all personal financial ledger records.

Option 1: In-App Self-Service Deletion (Instant)

If you have access to your active EXPENX session, you can trigger immediate cascading deletion directly from your settings:

  1. Sign in to your EXPENX account.
  2. Navigate to Settings from the sidebar menu.
  3. Click on the Danger Zone tab.
  4. Click Delete My Account.
  5. Type DELETE MY ACCOUNT and enter your password to confirm.

Warning: Deletion is irreversible. All owned workspaces, transaction ledgers, uploaded receipt files, budget envelopes, and AI history will be permanently erased.

Option 2: Verified Support Request

If you cannot access your account, you may submit a formal deletion request to our privacy team from your registered email address:

To: support@expenx.virenesis.com
Subject: Account Deletion Request - [Your Registered Email]
Body: I hereby request the permanent deletion of my EXPENX account and all associated financial data.
